About the Role
Mace is seeking an experienced Senior Health and Safety Manager to lead HSE management for a multi-floor office fit-out project in Riyadh. The role requires working night shifts for 9-12 months, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and driving a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities
- Lead health and safety management for fit out works across multiple floors within a fast track construction environment
- Provide on site HSE leadership during night shift operations, ensuring full compliance with safety standards and procedures
- Implement and monitor project specific health and safety plans, policies, and procedures
- Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks to ensure safe working practices are consistently maintained
- Review and approve method statements, risk assessments (RAMS), and permit to work systems
- Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement mitigation measures to prevent incidents
- Drive a strong safety culture across all contractors and subcontractors on site
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and company policies
- Lead incident investigations, reporting, and root cause analysis, ensuring lessons learned are embedded
- Interface with contractors, supervision teams, and stakeholders to ensure consistent application of safety requirements
- Deliver toolbox talks, training sessions, and safety briefings as required
- Provide regular reporting on safety performance, risks, and compliance to senior leadership
Requirements
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
- Willingness and ability to work night shifts for a sustained period (9–12 months)
- Middle East experience (KSA preferred)
- Experience working within a PMC, delivery partner and Tier 1 contractor environment
- Proven experience as a Senior Health and Safety Manager on fit out or construction projects
- Strong experience working in fast track or high pressure delivery environments
- Experience managing health and safety on commercial or office fit out projects
- Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Project Overview
- This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia.
- This unique project consists of major mixed use development, including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts, along with all associated infrastructure.

You’ll be responsible for

You’ll need to have
