- will be a 5 days on and 2 days off or a 14 days on and 7 days off.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons to all students in the class.
- Teach in accordance with the educational needs, abilities, and achievement levels of individual students and groups.
- Assign, review, correct, and evaluate student work.
- Record completion of training in the electronic database (Bistrainer) and maintain an archive of required paper documentation.
- Provide web‑based recertification options for predetermined training topics.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of provincial workplace regulations, as well as BHP and HBJV policies and procedures.
- Conduct informal workshops and system training sessions as needed.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with other staff, including those responsible for supporting learners with identified gaps.
- Continuously review and evaluate teaching strategies, methodologies, and program effectiveness.
- Advise and collaborate with fellow instructors and the Training Coordinator on course development, teaching materials, and assessments .
- Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Previous experience delivering safety or technical training in an industrial or construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and safe work practices.
- Proficiency with training systems and basic computer applications.
- Valid third-party safety certifications considered an asset, including: Fall Protection Confined Space Entry/Rescue First Aid/CPR

- Effective communication and facilitation skills, coupled with the ability to develop, maintain, and manage training-related documentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster collaborative partnerships with training staff, supervisors, and learners.
