Responsibilities
- Conduct a compliance gap analysis mapping TAQRIR's current NPHIES / FHIR R4 implementation against Unified Health File requirements and deliver a prioritized remediation roadmap
- Interpret CHI, NHIC, and NPHIES specifications and translate them into clear, build ready requirements for the engineering team
- Review FHIR resource profiles and data models (Encounter, Observation, Patient, etc.) to confirm conformance with KSA NPHIES profiles
- Provide governance oversight of clinical terminology and coding mappings (SNOMED CT, ICD 10, SBS/ACHI) against NPHIES validation rules
- Advise on NPHIES certification readiness and Unified Health File conformance
- Monitor the regulatory landscape and flag upcoming national health data mandates in advance
Requirements
- Background in health informatics, clinical informatics, or healthcare IT
- Hands on experience with Saudi NPHIES and HL7 FHIR R4, ideally having taken a product through NPHIES certification
- Working knowledge of CHI, NHIC standards, and PDPL data protection requirements
- Proven ability to translate regulatory specifications into actionable technical requirements
- Strong written communication
- Preferred: experience with EMS/ambulance or hospital EMR/EHR systems
- Preferred: based in Riyadh or within KSA

- TAQRIR is a Saudi health technology company building its first product: a native ePCR (electronic patient care reporting) platform for emergency medical services.
- Saudi Arabia is moving toward national health data interoperability, including the Unified Health File becoming mandatory in January 2027.
