Responsibilities
- Develop and manage schedules for the facility ensuring all medical services are covered.
- Lead the medical team and report directly to the general manager.
- Perform diagnostic imaging, basic orthopedic surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine consultations.
- Provide guidance and teaching to nurses, handlers, and students.
- Ensure client relationship through best communication, medical records updates, treatments, and follow up.
- Lead clinical standards and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.
- Propose business expansion opportunities according to market demand.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited university
- Valid MOCCAE veterinary license in good standing
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of clinical experience, including leadership roles, with at least 2 years in the UAE
- Advanced diagnostic, surgical, and medical care skills
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinking and problem solving capabilities
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous

Job Description
- Groomy Pet is a veterinary facility looking for a UAE SMALL ANIMAL LICENSED VETERINARIAN with enthusiasm for small animals.
- As a Veterinary Doctor, you will provide medical care and treatment to animals in a veterinary clinic or hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Creation of schedules for the facility ensuring that all the medical services are covered.
- Leadership over the medical team and reporting directly to the general manager.
- Diagnostic imaging
- Basic orthopedic surgery
- Dentistry
- Internal medicine, Sportive medicine/Ophthalmology/dermatology/nutrition consultations
- To be familiar and develop knowledge with alternative treatments (physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, laser…) under the direction of the Head Veterinarian.
- Ensure the client relationship by providing best communication, medical records updates, treatments and follow up.
- To be the guidance/teacher of the other staff such as nurses, handlers and students.
- Providing clinical support across the clinic, ensuring the provision of the best practice patient care.
- Working with the management to improve the strategies to manage the patient flow.
- Leading clinical standards and continue to build the culture of collaboration and excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
- Valid MOCCAE veterinary license in good standing.
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of clinical experience, including leadership roles, with at least 2 years of experience in the UAE.

- Experience in the UAE veterinary market, handling diverse clients, and collaborating with local veterinary organizations is preferred.
