Role Description
Provide strategic and operational leadership for all technology functions in a part-time, remote capacity.
Oversee core IT systems and infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and scalability.
Align technology initiatives with business goals through stakeholder coordination.
Core Responsibilities
- Define and execute IT strategy and manage IT operations.
- Set technology standards and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Manage vendors and monitor technology performance.
- Lead risk and security assessments.
- Evaluate and guide adoption of new tools and platforms.
- Mentor IT team members and establish best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience overseeing diverse technology environments and solutions.
- Proven IT management and IT operations experience, including team leadership, process optimization, and service delivery.
- Experience developing and implementing IT strategy.
- Hands-on experience with networks, servers, cloud services, and security frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in remote and distributed environments.
Education and Preferred Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
- Advanced degrees or certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or cloud certifications are advantageous.
