Head Of Primary – Dubai, UAE

  • Start Date: August / September 2026
  • An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and inspirational educational leader to join a thriving international school in Dubai as Head of Primary.
  • We are seeking a passionate and forward thinking leader who can drive academic excellence, nurture a positive school culture, and lead our Primary phase with energy, professionalism, and vision.

The Role

  • Lead and manage the Primary School across all year groups
  • Inspire high quality teaching and learning
  • Support staff development and performance
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ensure excellent pastoral care and safeguarding standards
  • Contribute strategically to whole school improvement and growth
  • This role is ideal for an established middle or senior leader looking to take the next step within an ambitious international school environment.

Candidate Requirements

  • A recognised teaching qualification (UK/British) qualification preferred
  • Relevant leadership experience within a Primary setting
  • Experience with the British curriculum preferred
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A collaborative and student centred leadership approach
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic international environment
  • Experience working in the UAE or international schools is advantageous but not essential.

Salary & Benefits

  • AED 23,000 – 26,000 per month (all inclusive package including accommodation allowance)
  • Annual medical insurance
  • Annual flight allowance for travel to the UK
  • Initial flight reimbursement upon arrival in the UAE and successful SPEA/KHDA approval
