Job Summary
- ***Responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost‑effective running of all operational activities, including production, warehouse, maintenance and quality.
- The role ensures that the company delivers products on time, at the right quality, and at optimal cost while continuously improving processes and operational capability.***
- Primary responsibilities include:
- Oversee daily plant operations to ensure production targets are met.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules, efficiency targets, and cost budgets.
- Implement best practices in manufacturing, including Lean, TPM and continuous improvement.
- Oversee plant expansion, equipment upgrades and technology implementation.
- Drive digital transformation in operations (automation, data systems, ERP).
- Ensure equipment uptime and minimize downtime through effective maintenance planning.
- Manage procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution.
- Optimize stock levels, working capital, and material availability.
- Ensure on‑time delivery (OTIF) to customers and internal departments.
- Strengthen supplier relationships and negotiate cost‑effective contracts.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO, HACCP, GMP, etc.).
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
- Oversee QC/QA teams and ensure product quality meets customer and regulatory requirements.
- Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for quality or safety incidents.
- Lead and develop teams across production, maintenance, QC, logistics and supply chain.
- Build a high‑performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
- Ensure training, succession planning, and competency development.
- Promote cross‑functional collaboration with Commercial, Finance and HR.
- Lead operational excellence initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support new product launches from an operational readiness perspective.
Required Experience
- 10+ years experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, Distribution or Industrial Operations.
- Strong experience in production, supply chain, maintenance and quality.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or continuous improvement methodologies.
