Operations leadership

• Lead day-to-day operations and develop strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Establish operational goals, KPIs, performance standards, reporting processes, and accountability standards.
• Manage processes, workflows, procedures, service quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
• Lead and develop operations teams and mentor operations managers and team leaders.

Cross-functional operations

• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, HR, Procurement, Logistics, Customer Success, and other departments.
• Monitor costs, resource utilization, productivity, profitability, staffing, training, and resource planning.
• Monitor supplier, partner, and third-party operational performance where applicable.

Risk and quality management

• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure operations comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Monitor service delivery, customer satisfaction, operational quality, and recurring operational issues.
• Develop standard operating procedures and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Growth and transformation

• Support business expansion, new-market launches, and organizational growth initiatives.
• Evaluate operational needs for new products, services, locations, and business units.
• Lead process-improvement and operational-transformation projects.
• Support technology adoption, automation, and digitalization of operational processes.

Reporting and planning

• Review operational reports and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
• Prepare regular performance updates, forecasts, and operational dashboards.
• Support annual planning, budgeting, and resource-allocation processes.
• Represent the operations function in senior management meetings.

Experience and capabilities

• Strong operations-management and leadership experience with a proven record of improving efficiency and business performance.
• Strong understanding of business processes, performance management, operational planning, KPI management, cost control, and process improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple teams, priorities, deadlines, operational risks, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project-management, communication, and team-building capabilities.
• Comfort working with operational data, KPIs, reports, and performance dashboards.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills; Arabic is an advantage.
• UAE or GCC operations experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, operations management, management, supply chain, engineering, finance, or a related field.
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Typically 7 or more years of progressive experience in operations, business management, process management, or a related field.
• Previous Head of Operations, Operations Director, Operations Manager, General Manager, or equivalent senior-role experience is preferred.
• Experience managing teams and significant operational responsibilities is required.
• Experience with cross-functional teams, operational transformation, automation, digitalization, ERP, CRM, workflow, or business-management systems is desirable or advantageous.
