- Oversee technical specifications, lighting calculations, controls systems, and product selection
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with international lighting brands
- Ensure compliance with international lighting standards, energy efficiency requirements, and local regulations
- Drive innovation in lighting technology and sustainable design solutions
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in architectural lighting design and project management
- Strong local market experience (GCC / Middle East preferred)
- Deep technical knowledge of lighting design software (Dialux, Relux, AGI32, etc.)
- Proven network with leading international lighting manufacturers and suppliers
- Demonstrated success managing lighting departments or large scale projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architectural Lighting, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field

About the Role
- We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Architectural Lighting Department Manager to lead our lighting design and technical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Architectural Lighting department, ensuring high quality design output and technical excellence across all projects.
- Develop and execute lighting design strategies for architectural, interior, facade, and landscape projects.
- Manage client presentations, design reviews, and coordination with architects, MEP consultants, and contractors.
- Oversee technical specifications, lighting calculations, controls systems, and product selection.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with well known international lighting brands (e.g., Zumtobel, ERCO, iGuzzini, Flos, Artemide, Philips, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with international lighting standards, energy efficiency requirements, and local regulations.
- Drive innovation in lighting technology and sustainable design solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in architectural lighting design and project management.
- Strong local market experience (GCC / Middle East / relevant region preferred).
- Deep technical knowledge of lighting design software (Dialux, Relux, AGI32, etc.), lighting controls, and current industry technologies.
- Proven network and established connections with leading international lighting manufacturers and suppliers.
- Demonstrated success managing lighting departments or large scale projects for high end architectural and interior clients.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architectural Lighting, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field (Lighting Design certification is a plus).
