About The Role
We are looking for a reliable and switched-on Accountant to take full responsibility for managing the financial and administrative operations of our office in Dubai.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly, ensuring accuracy, and supporting business growth in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day accounting functions, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
- Prepare accurate financial reports, statements, and forecasts to support informed decision-making.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT, tax regulations, and local statutory requirements.
- Oversee general office administration, including vendor management, expense control, and maintaining efficient back-office processes.
- Support the evaluation and integration of new business opportunities through detailed financial analysis, due diligence, and structuring of related transactions.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and cost control to maintain financial health and operational efficiency.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing processes and liaise with auditors as needed.
- Provide practical financial insights to help the business grow and manage day-to-day challenges.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and office management, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, IFRS, and local compliance standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks independently with high attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in financial analysis and supporting business expansion or integration projects is highly valued.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills; a proactive, can-do attitude is essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are a plus).
