About the Role
SolitAir is seeking an experienced leader to establish and head the Integrated Operations Control Centre (IOCC). This role will set strategy, build the team, and oversee 24/7 operational control to ensure safe, compliant, and on-time service delivery.

Responsibilities
- Establish and operationally manage the IOCC, including staffing, processes, tools and performance metrics to deliver 24/7 operational control.
- Lead cross functional coordination between flight operations, maintenance control, ground operations, cargo planning, safety, and regulatory liaison to resolve disruptions and maintain continuity.
- Drive problem solving for complex operational events by applying structured analysis, root cause identification, and timely corrective actions.
- Develop flexible operating procedures and escalation frameworks to respond to dynamic operational conditions.
- Implement and maintain integrated systems and dashboards that provide real time situational awareness and decision support.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, capturing lessons learned, training requirements and process enhancements.
- Ensure all IOCC activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and company policies, and coordinate timely reporting.
- Provide clear, effective communication in English across internal teams and external partners during normal and contingency operations.

- Proven background in airline or aviation operational control roles with significant experience leading operational teams and managing irregular operations.
- Strong analytical capability and structured problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated adaptability to changing priorities and operational pressures; comfortable leading a 24/7 function.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong people leadership skills.
- Comfortable with operational control systems, real time dashboards and data driven decision making.
- Relevant degree or professional qualifications in aviation, operations management or related field preferred.

What You’ll Do
- Establish and operationally manage the IOCC, including staffing, processes, tools and performance metrics to deliver 24/7 operational control.
- Lead cross functional coordination between flight operations, maintenance control, ground operations, cargo planning, safety, and regulatory liaison to resolve disruptions and maintain continuity.
- Drive problem solving for complex operational events by applying structured analysis, root cause identification, and timely corrective actions to minimise impact on safety and schedule.
- Develop flexible operating procedures and escalation frameworks to respond to dynamic operational conditions, including irregular operations, AOG events and severe weather.
- Implement and maintain integrated systems and dashboards that provide real time situational awareness and decision support for IOCC staff and senior leadership.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, capturing lessons learned, training requirements and process enhancements to reduce recurrence of operational disruptions.
- Ensure all IOCC activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and company policies, and coordinate timely reporting to regulators and stakeholders as required.
- Provide clear, effective communication in English across internal teams and external partners during normal and contingency operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven background in airline or aviation operational control roles, with significant experience leading operational teams and managing irregular operations.
- Strong analytical capability and structured problem solving skills, able to lead investigations, define root causes and implement robust corrective actions.
- Demonstrated adaptability to changing priorities and operational pressures; comfortable leading a 24/7 function with variable hours and rapid decision making demands.
- Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to prepare clear reports, brief senior leadership and communicate effectively across diverse teams.
- Strong people leadership skills, able to recruit, develop and motivate a high performing, inclusive team; confident at stakeholder engagement and crisis communication.
- Comfortable with operational control systems, real time dashboards and data driven decision making; experience with industry tools is desirable.
- Relevant degree or professional qualifications in aviation, operations management or related field preferred.
