Responsibilities
- Align information security strategy with the bank’s overall strategy and ensure effective governance.
- Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures aligned with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Conduct information security risk assessments and recommend remediation measures.
- Monitor security controls and recommend improvements to ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability, and auditability.
- Oversee security operations including configuration & change management, threat & vulnerability management.
- Oversee identity and access management governance, ensuring adherence to 'Need to Know' and 'Need to Do' principles.
- Continuously monitor information security capabilities and maturity through best practices and frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT, Risk, and stakeholders to promote a culture of security awareness.

- Bachelor or Master degree
- 12 15 years in the Banking Industry
- CISSP, CISA, CISM, CDPSE certifications preferred

Role Description
- The Head of Information Security is a senior leadership role responsible for protecting Reem Community Bank’s Information Assets, managing security risks, ensuring compliance, and embedding a culture of cybersecurity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master Graduate.
- 12 15 years in the Banking Industry.
- CISSP, CISA, CISM, CDPSE certifications preferred.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- KPA 1: Information Security Strategy & Governance – Align security strategy with bank strategy.
- KPA 2: Policies, Standards & Regulatory Compliance – Develop and maintain policies aligned with regulations.
- KPA 3: Information Security Risk Management – Conduct risk assessments and recommend remediation.
- KPA 4: Information Security Controls – Monitor controls and recommend improvements.
- KPA 5: Security Operations Oversight – Oversee configuration, change, threat, and vulnerability management.
- KPA 6: Identity & Access Management Governance – Oversee user access rights management.
- KPA 7: Security Maturity Monitoring – Continuously monitor capabilities and maturity.
- KPA 8: Stakeholder Engagement & Security Culture – Collaborate to promote security awareness.
