Role Overview

  • As the Head of Human Resources for Kaplan MENA, you will be a strategic partner to the business leadership, responsible for developing and leading the people agenda to drive the success of the Kaplan Professional business in the Middle East and North Africa.
  • The primary focus will be on the KP MENA business, covering the full spectrum of HR responsibilities.
  • The role will also include a crucial secondary focus: leveraging the expertise and resources of the KP MENA HR team to provide hands on operational HR support to other Kaplan business units (BUs) operating within the region who do not have the scale to justify their own local HR function.
  • In total, the role involves supporting a growing employee population of more than 100 across the region.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for an expert HR Leader who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

  • Proven experience in a HR leadership role, including driving culture, engagement, and people strategy within a multi site or regional context.
  • Knowledge of MENA labour laws (including UAE and KSA) and demonstrated experience in developing and implementing compliant regional HR policies and programs.
  • Strong understanding of organisational development, talent management, and change management principles in a smaller business context.
  • Expertise in fostering an inclusive workplace culture that respects and leverages the diverse backgrounds of a MENA workforce.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commercial awareness with strong analytical and problem solving skills, capable of providing market informed advice.
  • Ability to balance multiple strategic and operational priorities effectively, demonstrating a hands on approach to ensure seamless service delivery with limited shared resources.
  • Comfortable with learning and adopting new digital tools, including AI powered platforms, to enhance efficiency and leverage autonomation
