About the Role
Walker Lovell is seeking a Head of Finance for a founder-led technology business in Abu Dhabi. This executive role partners directly with the CEO to shape commercial strategy, lead global finance functions, and build scalable financial processes for international expansion.

Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO as a trusted advisor, providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth and commercial decision making.
- Lead the global finance function across multiple international entities, overseeing reporting, forecasting, cash flow, audit, tax, compliance and financial governance.
- Build scalable financial processes, controls and reporting frameworks that enable sustainable international expansion.
- Mentor the finance team while building trusted relationships with auditors, banking partners, regulators and external advisors.
Requirements
- Professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent)
- Minimum 15 years of senior finance experience, including significant UAE exposure
- Proven experience in a founder led, privately owned or high growth business as a commercial advisor to founders or CEOs
- Demonstrable success leading finance across multiple international entities with IFRS expertise and UAE Corporate Tax knowledge
- Commercially minded leadership style with confidence to challenge and influence executive decision making
