Role Overview
The Head of Engineering owns SyncOS as the single technical owner of the software platform.
The role leads platform engineering, fleet management, integrations, DevOps, release reliability, architecture, and customer-site delivery across geographies.
Success includes reliable deployments, stable interfaces, reusable integrations, and a self-sufficient engineering organization.
Platform and Reliability
- Lead teams building fleet management, integrations, dashboards, integration modules, and the platform core.
- Own release gating, staged rollout, post-deployment verification, reversible deployments, and observability.
- Lead the DevOps function and establish a controlled, repeatable process for software updates at customer sites.
- Define and enforce interface contracts and data models between SyncOS and integrations.
