As a Head of Credit Operations, you will be a cornerstone of the Credit Operations, responsible for the seamless execution of our digital credit underwriting, disbursal, and post-disbursal account maintenance processes.
Role summary:
Your role will center on operational support and process coordination to ensure that every finance file flows efficiently from initial application to disbursal and beyond.
This includes managing real estate valuation logistics and maintaining relationships with certified property valuation agencies.
You will be expected to operate with precision, manage multiple workflows, and work closely with both internal teams and external partners to ensure speed, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Coordinate and monitor the end-to-end digital credit process, including documentation verification, eligibility criteria validation, and application completeness.
2.
Prepare, review, and maintain digital disbursal packages, ensuring all pre-conditions are met before release of funds.
3.
Ensure all customer documents are validated, digitized, and securely stored in accordance with data and regulatory standards.
4.
Support the credit underwriting process by coordinating documentation flows, finance-to-property value verification, and finance file completeness.
5.
Liaise with certified real estate evaluation agencies, manage appraisal requests, track submissions, and ensure quality and timeliness of property reports.
6.
Own and maintain relationships with valuation agencies, including onboarding, performance tracking, SLA compliance, and issue resolution.
7.
Collaborate with underwriting, legal, and finance teams to streamline finance operations workflows and enhance platform efficiency.
8.
Conduct post-disbursal activities, such as disbursal-trench management, condition tracking, documentation follow-up, and system updates.
9.
Assist in audit preparation, compliance checks, and reporting for regulatory and internal control purposes.
10.
Contribute to process documentation, automation initiatives, and operational risk mitigation efforts.
11.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the finance management system throughout the credit lifecycle.
12.
Ensure end-to-end compliance with internal credit policies and external regulatory guidelines (e.g., KYC, AML, mortgage-specific regulations).
13.
Respond to internal and external queries regarding finance status, documentation, and process timelines.
Qualifications & Skills (Limit to 4-5 essential requirements):
1.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
2. 5 years of experience in credit administration, finance operations, in mortgage products (Ready-to-move, Off-plan, Self-Construct) on Murabha/Ijarah basis in a fintech/bank.
3.
Full knowledge & understanding of the home-financing market dynamics in KSA; i.e. pricing, process, requirements, regulatory and legal frameworks…etc.
4.
Solid understanding of digital finance origination systems, credit workflows, and document validation processes.
5.
Experience coordinating real-estate valuation processes and vendor relationships.
6.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
7.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to manage both internal stakeholders and third-party agencies.
Desirable skills: (Optional 1-2 requirements):
1.
Experience in a fully digital mortgage or consumer lending platform.
2.
Working knowledge of property collateral documentation and real estate risk assessment.
3.
Exposure to fintech tools, automation platforms, or API-based systems for financial services.
4.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to mortgage lending (e.g., KYC, AML, LTV guidelines).
5.
Background in vendor performance management or service-level monitoring.
6.
Start-up mindset: resourceful, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity.
