About the Role
Brunel seeks a Head of Contract to lead the contract sub-team managing a multi-billion EPCC contract for a major energy project in Qatar. You will provide commercial and contracting direction, manage change orders, and support claims prevention and resolution.

Responsibilities
- Lead the contract sub team in charge of managing a multi billion EPCC contract
- Provide commercial and contracting direction related to managing the EPCC contract post award until Close Out
- Deliver the Value Protection plan and manage the change order management process
- Work with SUPPLY to provide expertise on claims and disputes prevention and resolution
- Maintain close effective relationships with other Management personnel and Functional Managers
- Develop Post Award Contract Management Strategies and Scenarios for overall Onshore
- Coordinate preparation for contract evaluations and end of contract close outs
- Provide central coordination for contractual responses to the Contractors
- Support the Onshore Contracts Division Manager and Business Manager in claims management
- Together with Project Managers, accelerate delivery of improvement projects serving the Major Projects digital strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Business, Law or Engineering
- 10 years minimum in multi billion Lump Sum Major Energy Projects (post award) in similar position
- Strong influencing skills
- Strong business and risks acumen
- Capable of writing well documented commercial correspondences
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and Communication skills with team leadership qualities

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree (Business, law or engineering)
- 10 years minimum in multi billion Lump Sum Major Energy Projects (post award) in similar position.
- Experienced Project manager, Construction or Project Control Manager are also invited to apply.
- Strong influencing skills
- Strong business and risks acumen
- Legal, Dispute claims resolution experiences will be a plus
- Capable of writing well documented commercial correspondences
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and Communication skills with team leadership qualities
