About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead compliance and assurance across ITSEC and SVG businesses
- Own the quality and accuracy of every regulatory deliverable
- Handle Financial Services & Virtual Asset Licensing including VARA, SCA/CMA, ADGM (FSRA), DFSA & CBUAE
- Develop VASP policy packs, AML/CFT/CPF programmes, KYC/CDD, client agreements, risk disclosures, and licensing submissions
- Manage Healthcare & Data Protection compliance including DHA (ST 14), ADHICS V2, UAE PDPL & DESC
- Conduct Internal Assurance including ISO/IEC 27001:2022 risk assessments, internal audits, evidence management, and certification readiness
Requirements
- 3 7+ years in regulatory compliance, financial services, virtual assets, or regulatory advisory
- Proven experience authoring policies, manuals, or regulatory submissions
- Strong AML/CFT and FATF knowledge with UAE regulatory experience
- ISO 27001 and/or UAE healthcare/data protection experience highly desirable
- Certifications such as CAMS, ICA, CISI, CGSS, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor are a strong advantage

We're Hiring: Head of Compliance & Assurance (Group)
- ITSEC and SVG operate across cybersecurity, compliance engineering, and UAE regulatory licensing.
- This role leads compliance and assurance across both businesses and owns the quality and accuracy of every regulatory deliverable we produce.
- This is not a generalist compliance role. We're looking for someone who works directly from rulebooks, writes to regulatory filing standards, and believes in 'verify before you assert.'
You'll lead across:
- Financial Services & Virtual Asset Licensing (80%) – VARA, SCA/CMA, ADGM (FSRA), DFSA & CBUAE, including VASP policy packs, AML/CFT/CPF programmes, KYC/CDD, client agreements, risk disclosures, and end to end licensing submissions.
- Healthcare & Data Protection – DHA (ST 14), ADHICS V2, UAE PDPL & DESC compliance, including policy development, regulatory gap assessments, and control mapping.
- Internal Assurance – ISO/IEC 27001:2022 risk assessments, internal audits, evidence management, and certification readiness.
We're looking for:
- 3–7+ years in regulatory compliance, financial services, virtual assets, or regulatory advisory.
- Proven experience authoring policies, manuals, or regulatory submissions.
- Strong AML/CFT and FATF knowledge with UAE regulatory experience.
- ISO 27001 and/or UAE healthcare/data protection experience is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as CAMS, ICA, CISI, CGSS, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor are a strong advantage.
