The Role

  • Head of Commercial owns end to end commercial strategy for Ask in regulated and sovereign markets.
  • Will build a commercial engine: operating model, pipeline discipline, and incentive structure.
  • Focus on winning the right clients in the right sequence to build references.

What You'll Do

  • Own commercial strategy for Ask across regulated enterprise and sovereign segments.
  • Translate Ask's agentic capabilities into offers, pricing, and go to market plays.
  • Own client selection with Product, choosing lighthouse accounts.
  • Own the Ask pipeline end to end from sourcing to close.
  • Personally lead negotiation of complex, high value contracts.
  • Own post signature relationship for high value accounts and drive expansion.
  • Build and manage a focused partner ecosystem.
  • Develop commercial operating model: pipeline stages, forecasting, CRM, bid management.
  • Design and own incentive architecture for long cycle deals.
  • Report commercial performance to executive leadership and board.

What You'll Bring

  • 12+ years in commercial strategy, deal structuring, or business development.
  • 4+ years leading a commercial team.
  • Experience selling to regulated and sovereign buyers (financial services, defence, government).
  • Knowledge of procurement: RFP/RFQ, vendor qualification, security and regulatory review.
  • Fluency in Arabic, French, and English preferred.
  • Experience negotiating complex enterprise or government contracts.
  • Experience designing commercial operating models and incentive structures.

Great Pluses / Preferred Experience

  • Grasp of the agentic AI market and emerging commercial models.
  • Experience commercialising agentic or usage based software.
  • Strong commercial judgement and selective selling.
  • Deal making ability in high stakes negotiations.
  • Relationship building with technical and non technical stakeholders up to C suite.
  • Builder mindset with ownership of functions.
