The role owns the Group infrastructure landscape, including cloud, networking and service desk functions.
About the role
- Own the architecture, performance and direction of the Group's infrastructure across cloud, networking and service desk functions.
- Manage outsourced vendors delivering cloud, networking and service desk services, with accountability for technical delivery, service levels and commercial terms.
- Lead infrastructure change management, upgrades and modernization programs while remaining close to the technical detail.
- Own and optimize cloud consumption and cost across the Group as a cloud FinOps expert.
- Drive efficiency without compromising infrastructure performance or reliability.
- Set and enforce architecture, security and reliability standards across all infrastructure environments.
- Partner with senior technology and business leadership to align infrastructure architecture with Group priorities.
- Provide technical direction and governance, including leadership visibility on infrastructure performance, change and spend.
Requirements
- Practical experience in cloud and infrastructure architecture is required.
- Deep, practical expertise in cloud FinOps is required.
- Ability to lead infrastructure functions while remaining technically hands-on is required.
- Experience managing outsourced cloud, networking and service desk vendors is required.
- Ability to provide technical direction and governance across infrastructure environments is required.
- Ability to partner with senior technology and business leadership is required.
