- Ensure cameras and control systems are maintained and liaise with Engineering
- Supervise, train, and roster camera operators
- Operate cameras, jibs, and cranes in studio and on location
- Operate lighting control panels and maintain lighting design
- Develop lighting solutions for new studio shows
- Attend management meetings and set staff objectives
- Conduct annual appraisals and identify training needs
- Capture KPIs and generate daily, weekly, monthly reports
- Manage team recruitment and ensure operational continuity

Role Overview
- Responsible for filming and lighting of on air news, programmes, outside broadcasts, and special events.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure cameras and control systems are maintained and liaise with Engineering.
- Supervise, train, and roster camera operators.
- Operate cameras, jibs, and cranes in studio and on location.
- Operate lighting control panels and maintain lighting design.
- Operate robotic camera system and camera control system.
- Liaise with Directors on studio productions.
- Develop lighting solutions for new studio shows.
Other Responsibilities
- Proactively enhance camera output for studio shows.
- Attend meetings with management and direct reports.
- Set staff objectives and conduct annual appraisals.
- Identify annual training requirements.
- Capture KPIs and generate reports.
- Manage team recruitment and ensure operational continuity.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
