Responsibilities
- Lead origination and qualification of Islamic capital market transactions including Sukuk and RECCs
- Drive end to end transaction structuring including financial modeling, credit assessment, and Shariah review
- Coordinate with legal advisors, Shariah scholars, and other professional advisors
- Lead investor syndication activities and participate in roadshows and presentations
- Conduct credit analysis, due diligence, and risk evaluations
- Prepare investment recommendations and credit memoranda for senior management
- Monitor post closing transaction performance and covenant compliance
- Build, mentor, and develop the arranging team
- Develop standardized transaction processes and risk frameworks
- Maintain relationships with sponsors, investors, and financial institutions
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Islamic capital markets and Shariah compliant financing
- Proven experience in originating and structuring Sukuk and other Islamic transactions
- Strong financial modeling, credit analysis, and risk evaluation skills
- Experience leading investor syndication and roadshows
- Ability to build and mentor a team

Role Overview
- Leverage your expertise and join the dynamic team in an investment firm specializing in Investment management and Shariah compliant financing solutions.
- As Head of Arranging, you will lead transaction origination, structuring, and execution across a diverse portfolio of Shariah compliant financing solutions.
- Work closely with executive leadership to originate mandates, structure complex transactions, engage with investors and Shariah advisors, and ensure efficient execution with high governance and compliance.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the origination and qualification of Islamic capital market transactions, including Sukuk, RECCs, and other structured financing solutions across targeted sectors.
- Drive end to end transaction structuring, including financial modeling, cash flow analysis, credit assessment, Shariah review, and commercial negotiations.
- Coordinate with external legal advisors, Shariah scholars, and other professional advisors throughout the documentation and transaction closing process.
- Lead investor syndication activities, prepare investment opportunities, and participate in roadshows and institutional investor presentations.
- Conduct comprehensive credit analysis, financial due diligence, sponsor assessments, and risk evaluations for prospective transactions.
- Prepare and present investment recommendations, credit memoranda, and transaction proposals to senior management and investment committees.
- Monitor post closing transaction performance, covenant compliance, and emerging credit risks while recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Build, mentor, and develop the arranging team, ensuring effective workload distribution and continuous capability development.
- Develop standardized transaction processes, documentation standards, financial models, and internal risk frameworks to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain strong relationships with sponsors, investors, financial institutions, legal advisors, and other key stakeholders within the capital markets ecosystem.
