Role Overview
Petra Medical Care Centre is seeking a qualified and experienced Head Nurse to oversee nursing operations and clinical workflows in Abu Dhabi.
The role combines nursing leadership, patient-care quality oversight, compliance management, and direct dental chairside assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate nursing and clinical support staff.
- Manage staff rosters, duty schedules, and operational coverage across shifts.
- Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, infection-control protocols, and clinical safety standards.
- Oversee medical supplies, sterilization equipment, and emergency medical kit inventory.
- Coordinate between management, physicians, dentists, and clinical support staff.
- Monitor patient-care quality and address patient concerns.
- Conduct performance evaluations, training, and onboarding for nursing personnel.
- Provide direct chairside assistance to dentists during procedures and treatments.
- Prepare operatories, sterilize dental instruments, and maintain clinical readiness.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid DOH Abu Dhabi license as a Registered Nurse or Head Nurse is required.
- At least two years of dental nursing experience within the UAE, including supervisory or Head Nurse experience.
- Hands-on dental chairside assistance experience.
- Knowledge of DOH inspection standards, quality management, and infection control.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Fluent English is required; Arabic communication skills are an added advantage.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 6,000 to AED 7,500 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person at the medical facility in Abu Dhabi.
