Review of mechanical and electrical predictive / preventive maintenance status of Container Terminal equipment, facilities and civil construction.
Plan and implement internal projects related to container & Ro-Ro terminal
Manage and control inventory costs of spare parts and consumables within budget.
Review electricity / fuel / spare parts consumption patterns and take necessary corrective actions
Standardization and indigenization of spares and vendor development to ensure better availability, cost optimization and inventory control of Container Terminal equipment
Study latest developments in the Port technologies, material handling systems and maintenance techniques / equipment and explore their applications in port.
Analyze electrical and mechanical breakdowns and take corrective actions in order to reduce down time.
Ensure adherence to IMS / Safety by employees during maintenance activities.
Ensure 99% availability of equipment with optimal maintenance cost.
Prepare and monitor manpower, revenue and Capex Budget.
Ensure continuous training and development of people for better efficiency and individual growth.
Provide timely and prompt service to the breakdown requests and other performance enhancement initiatives
