- Lead all kitchen operations and ensure consistently high culinary standards
- Plan and develop the menu, design seasonal specials, and ensure dishes align with the brand’s coffee focused concept
- Supervise kitchen staff, organize prep and service, manage food ordering and inventory
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards
- Train and mentor the culinary team, set clear expectations, and schedule shifts
- Collaborate with management and barista teams to coordinate menu offerings and control costs
- Respond to guest feedback and adapt the menu as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Head Chef or senior kitchen leadership role, ideally in cafés, bistros, or coffee focused concepts
- Demonstrated ability to design, test, and implement menus that complement specialty coffee
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and best practices
- Experience managing kitchen operations, including inventory control, vendor relationships, and cost management
- Effective leadership skills with a track record of training and developing kitchen teams
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
