- Lead all culinary operations of the Asian kitchen, ensuring outstanding food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Design and innovate menus that honor authentic Asian flavors while bringing a modern, upscale sensibility
- Recruit, develop, and inspire the kitchen team to achieve operational and service excellence
- Manage food costing, inventory control, and waste reduction to maintain kitchen profitability
- Ensure full compliance with hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organization standards
- Collaborate with F&B leadership to align culinary output with the property's brand and guest expectations
- Oversee smooth kitchen operations across daily service, events, and special functions
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef with specialization in Asian cuisine (Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Korean, Southeast Asian, or Pan Asian)
- Background in luxury hotels or high end standalone restaurants is strongly preferred
- Deep passion for Asian culinary traditions combined with creative, forward thinking approach
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Solid knowledge of food costing, menu engineering, and kitchen administration
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast paced, high standard kitchen environment
