- Review testing protocols for compliance with accepted standards and verify testing results
- Participate in bid/project activities such as defining architectures, developing technical proposals and providing cost and schedule estimates
- Interact with customers regarding requirements and technical solutions
- Manage 3rd party relationships and coordination of work for cross site initiatives
- Pre and Post Sales support when needed by Product Marketing or Customer Support
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, Technologist Diploma or equivalent
- 8 years industry experience relating to electronics computing
- Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role preferred
- Experience with development of electronic assemblies for aerospace applications
- Knowledge of open system standards such as VME, VPX, XMC and PMC
- Familiarity with leading edge Intel and NXP/Qualcomm processors
- Knowledge of high end FPGA design
- Working knowledge of PCB technologies
- Experience with product configuration management
- DO 254 Safety Certification

Hardware Product Development Manager
- We’re looking for a highly motivated Hardware Product Development Manager to join our Ottawa, ON team.
- You will lead a dynamic group of Hardware Engineers responsible for the development of new products and the support of existing product lines.
- You plan and oversee the product development related activities, ensuring objectives are accomplished to meet business and customer objectives.
- You will work closely with other cross functional team members in Engineering, New Product Introduction (NPI), Customer Support, Sales and Marketing.

Salary Range
- $119,500 $152,650 plus bonus opportunity
- Criteria such as qualifications, experience, scope of position, market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.

What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, Technologist Diploma or equivalent will be considered
