About the Role
This is a great opportunity to join Nokia’s hardware group and gain hands-on experience developing software that powers cutting-edge router technology. You will work closely with an experienced embedded software team to design and implement device drivers, develop code to stress and screen new hardware designs, and collaborate with factory teams to support production test programs. You'll also create custom automation scripts to control test equipment, contributing directly to real-world hardware bring-up and validation.

Responsibilities
- As a student in the hardware group, you’ll work with an experienced team developing hardware solutions for Nokia’s routing platforms. Gain hands-on lab experience with prototype circuit boards and receive guidance, feedback, and career support from a dedicated mentor. This is an on-site role with office attendance required.
- As part of the team, you will:
- Verify and debug circuit designs using oscilloscopes and other test gear.
- Test hardware under thermal and environmental conditions.
- Complete the final assembly of new prototype units.
- Qualify new circuit components
- Develop custom automation scripts (Perl, Python, TCL) to control test equipment.
