Role Overview
KEO is seeking a Handover Coordinator for an awarded project based in Doha, Qatar.
The role coordinates project handover and close-out with the client, end users, contractor, and project stakeholders.
Handover Responsibilities
- Establish project-specific handover requirements, plans, procedures, and schedules with relevant stakeholders.
- Review contractor commissioning, testing, handover, and close-out plans, schedules, and deliverables.
- Monitor handover milestones, contractual requirements, inspections, snagging, de-snagging, testing, and commissioning.
- Coordinate final inspections, NOCs, Taking Over Certificates, completion documents, and outstanding close-out items.
- Prepare handover progress reports and project close-out reports while maintaining accurate records.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years of total experience, including at least 7 years of relevant project handover and close-out experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Proven experience in local roads, highways, or expressway projects.
- Valid Qatar Engineering License or UPDA registration.
- Strong experience in handover, testing and commissioning, snagging and de-snagging, documentation, and project close-out.
- Knowledge of construction contracts and coordination with clients, contractors, end users, and stakeholders.
- Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
Preferred Qualification
- Experience in Qatar roads or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Bilingual capability in Arabic and English is preferable.
