Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Manage the project budget and provide regular cost reports to the client and project team.
• Oversee procurement documents, tendering processes, and contractor selection.
• Implement FIDIC contracts, manage variations, resolve disputes, and handle claims and negotiations.
• Prepare cost estimates and advise on construction methods, resource requirements, and schedule impacts.
• Maintain financial records and prepare periodic reports for senior management and the client.
• Assess and negotiate changes and variations and manage their budget and timeline impacts.
• Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies for cost overruns and delays.
• Participate in value engineering and maintain relationships with project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of work experience is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying is required.
• Hands-on experience in landscaping or large-scale infrastructure projects in the UAE is preferred.
