Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments and supplies
- Assist in patient preparation, including explaining the procedure and answering basic questions
- Perform scalp preparation and marking under the surgeon’s guidance
- Assist during hair transplant procedures (FUE/FUT), including extraction, dissection, and sorting of hair grafts under a microscope
- Implant grafts into the scalp following the surgeon's instructions and design
- Monitor graft viability and ensure proper handling to prevent damage
- Provide postoperative care instructions to patients
- Maintain accurate documentation of the procedure, including graft count and placement
- Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure and monitor vitals
- Work closely with the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety
Requirements
- Certification in a relevant medical or technical field (e.g., medical assistant, nursing)
- Specialized training in hair transplantation (DHA mandatory)
- Experience or training in FUE and FUT techniques
- Proficiency in using surgical instruments and microscopes
- Prior experience in a similar role or clinical/surgical setting is an advantage
- Ability to stand for long periods and maintain focus during lengthy procedures

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments and supplies

- Assist during the hair transplant procedure, including follicular unit extraction (FUE) or follicular unit transplantation (FUT)
- Extract, dissect, and sort hair grafts under a microscope with precision
- Implant grafts into the scalp following the surgeon's instructions and design
- Monitor graft viability and ensure proper handling to prevent damage
- Provide postoperative care instructions to patients
- Maintain accurate documentation of the procedure, including graft count and placement
- Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any signs of distress or discomfort
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience or training in FUE and FUT techniques
- Proficiency in using surgical instruments and microscopes
- High level of precision and accuracy in graft extraction and implantation
- Ability to make patients feel at ease and explain procedures clearly
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
