The Gun Loader / Shop Technician's principal responsibilities are to load the perforating guns, keep up to date on the explosive inventory control list, order explosives and ensure that the perforation equipment is maintained to the highest standards and according to the latest specifications, as well as managing and ensuring appropriate tool and consumable inventory levels to meet client contractual agreements, maintaining a well-organized shop, participating in, and contributing to a safe environment, and supporting the management and field operations personnel with job preparation. The ideal candidate must be aware at all times of the potential risks associated with such maintenance and work in a safe, orderly and efficient manner.
