Role description
The Group Chief Executive Officer is a part-time, remote position providing strategic leadership and oversight across PMLTC's business operations.
The role sets the company's overall vision and direction and guides long-term business and investment strategies.
The role ensures alignment with stakeholder expectations and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Review financial and operational performance and steer business planning initiatives.
- Oversee risk management and corporate governance.
- Support senior leaders in optimising transmission operations.
- Strengthen stakeholder and partner relationships.
- Identify opportunities for growth and efficiency within the power sector.
- Represent the company at high-level meetings with investors, regulators, and industry partners.
- Foster accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong strategic and business planning leadership for complex infrastructure or energy projects.
- Proven finance expertise including financial oversight, capital planning, budgeting, and investment evaluation.
- Operations management experience in technical or regulated environments.
- Sales or commercial leadership background with stakeholder management and strategic negotiation capability.
- Extensive executive-level experience managing multinational or joint-venture entities.
- Power, energy, infrastructure, or related-sector experience is preferred.
- An advanced degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
