Role Overview
The employer is seeking a Marketing Assistant cum Graphic Designer for its corporate team in Dubai, UAE.
Responsibilities
- Design and create artwork.
- Maintain the website and social media profiles, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Establish an effective presence on social media sites.
- Approve or delete comments on blogs or articles and encourage positive comments.
- Manage, design, and deliver emails and mailing lists.
- Solicit customer feedback and optimize campaigns accordingly.
- Create and upload copy and images for the organization’s website.
- Provide accurate reports and analysis to management to demonstrate return on investment.
- Research online media opportunities, including mobile, social media, blogs, and forums.
- Design website banners and assist with web visuals.
- Contribute to company and industry blogs and manage electronic communications.
- Assist with paid media, contact database management, lead generation, and marketing and sales activities.
Requirements
- A business or marketing-related degree, equivalent professional qualification, or other related quantitative degree is required.
- At least 1–3 years of online marketing experience is required.
- At least 1–2 years of graphic design and online marketing experience is required.
- Relevant product and industry knowledge and experience with relevant software applications are required.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills are required.
- Experience in an academic environment is preferred.
