The Opportunity
Are you a creative, energetic visual storyteller looking to kick-start your career? Join Decathlon Sports India for an intensive, Graduation Project as a Graphic Design & Video Editing Intern. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your eye for design and passion for dynamic video content in a fast-paced, real-world retail and digital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Visual Creation: Assist in creating compelling, visually appealing designs - including social media graphics, digital banners, basic layouts, and simple illustrations that align with Decathlon's sporty aesthetic.
- Video Production & Editing: Edit and assemble raw footage into engaging short-form video content ensuring optimal pacing, transitions, and audio synchronization.
- AI Exploration & Integration: Utilize and experiment with Generative AI tools (such as Adobe Firefly, Gemini etc) to assist in brainstorming, mockups, asset generation, and streamlining both design and video editing workflows.
- Brand Guardianship: Learn and apply Decathlon's brand guidelines to maintain consistent visual identity and messaging across all static and video platforms.
- Asset Management: Support the design team with day-to-day operational tasks such as resizing images, adapting formats for various platforms, basic photo retouching, and organizing digital assets.
- Creative Brainstorming: Actively observe the creative process, participate in design critiques, and confidently contribute fresh ideas during team brainstorming sessions.
