Significant experience in undertaking basic research and/or applied research and development (R&D).
Established track record in delivering solutions to real-world problems through software development, mathematical formulation, experimentation and/or statistical analysis.
Significant experience in the management of research and/or applied R&D projects and programs.
Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate effectively with external partners on shared initiatives and projects.
Evidence of professional contributions, including activities such as organising workshops, conferences, symposia or similar events.
Demonstrated commitment to the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and the ability to positively uphold associated behavioural expectations.
Experience supervising junior researchers and/or Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students to achieve research outcomes, including publications and theses.
