About the Role
Louis Dreyfus Company is seeking a Grains & Oilseeds Market Analyst to conduct supply and demand analysis for Russian grains and oilseeds. The role involves building balance sheets, forecasting production, organizing crop tours, and coordinating with traders.

Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis of Russian supply and demand of grains and oilseeds.
- Build national balance sheets for all G&O products traded by the platform, as well as a regional balance sheet for wheat.
- Forecast Russian grains (wheat, corn, barley & minor grains) and oilseeds production volumes (soybeans, rapeseed, sunseed).
- Organize and conduct crop tours.
- Coordinate work with analysts and traders in various relevant countries.
- Manage Russian oilseeds crush estimates.
- Communicate results of analysis to Geneva traders and global group.
- Provide early warnings on sudden S&D changes.
- Work with Geneva traders to develop trading strategy, highlight opportunities and risks.
- Coordinate with grains/oilseeds desk to update Russia's feed matrix.
- Monitor line ups & customs and give regular updates to the group.
- Monitor weekly harvesting/planting pace and deduce S&D implications.
Requirements
- Experience in grains and oilseeds market analysis, particularly Russian supply and demand.
- Ability to build national and regional balance sheets for grains and oilseeds.
- Experience in forecasting production volumes and managing crush estimates.
- Strong analytical and communication skills to coordinate with traders and global teams.
- Ability to develop an extensive network with local external market players and analysts.
- Proficiency in data management and BI tools for maintaining datasets and balance sheet outputs.
