Role overview
GE HealthCare is seeking a Graduate Trainee Engineer – Manufacturing Engineering for the X-ray Subsystems manufacturing team.
This is an entry-level role involving hands-on learning, structured training, coaching, and assignments with experienced engineers.
Roles and responsibilities
- Support Manufacturing and Product Engineers and lead engineers with daily manufacturing engineering activities for the X-ray Subsystems product line.
- Collect, track, and analyze manufacturing and production line performance data.
- Monitor production metrics and support actions to keep line performance indicators on target.
- Assist with FAR clearance and investigations related to manufacturing failures.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of production-line issues.
- Identify contributing factors and support corrective actions with experienced engineers.
- Help maintain and improve operational efficiency in the X-ray Subsystems manufacturing area.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and other relevant team members.
- Develop practical manufacturing engineering knowledge through training, coaching, and hands-on assignments.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
