Roles and Responsibilities
• Support manufacturing engineering activities for existing products and New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Work with experienced engineers and production teams to understand manufacturing processes, identify issues, and support practical solutions.
• Assist with manufacturing process documentation, part routings, work standards, and process changes.
• Support the development and improvement of fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing aids.
• Participate in process improvement activities focused on safety, quality, productivity, cycle time, lead time, and cost.
• Participate in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations.
• Assist in analyzing production and quality issues and support implementation of corrective and improvement actions.
• Support engineering trials, process validation activities, data collection, and documentation as required.
• Work with Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, EHS, and other cross-functional teams on manufacturing activities.
• Support manufacturing engineering projects and track assigned actions to completion.
• Interact with suppliers and vendors, as required, with guidance from experienced team members.
• Follow EHS requirements and actively participate in initiatives to improve workplace safety.
• Develop technical knowledge of GE HealthCare products, manufacturing processes, quality requirements, and operational systems through structured learning and hands-on experience.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering .
- Recent graduate with an interest in manufacturing, production engineering, process improvement, and hands-on technical problem-solving.
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and their application in a manufacturing environment.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and willingness to learn from experienced engineers and manufacturing professionals.
Desired Characteristics
Academic project, internship, or practical exposure related to manufacturing, production, product development, automation, tooling, or process engineering.
Basic understanding of Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement concepts.
Interest in working hands-on with manufacturing processes, equipment, fixtures, and tooling.
Strong attention to detail with an organized approach to completing assigned activities.
Ability to analyze problems, learn quickly, and apply engineering concepts to practical situations.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated with curiosity and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
