Graduate Engineer/ Engineer in Training

• Previous work or internship experience with a municipality, water/sewer engineering consultant, or development industry
• Engineer-in-Training certification
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Exceptional customer service, time management, communication, and writing skills

The Capital Delivery Graduate Engineer/Engineer in Training job responsibilities include:

• Jump into real city engineering projects where you get to help keep water flowing and sewer systems running smoothly
• Review and compare construction bids, crunch cost estimates, and check out change orders—kind of like being the project’s financial detective
• Handle a mix of phone calls, emails, and questions from all kinds of people. You’ll research real engineering challenges and help solve them, so you’ll never be bored.
• Team up with construction inspectors to decode plans, troubleshoot surprises in the field, and make sure final project plans actually match what was built
• Head out for field inspections to see projects up close and confirm everything is being built the way it’s supposed to. Yes—real boots‐on‐the‐ground engineering
• Work directly with a Senior Professional Engineer, meaning you get mentorship and hands‐on learning
