Role overview
AECOM is seeking ambitious Civil and Structural Engineering graduates for its Bridges and Structures business line.
The role begins in 2027 and offers work on local, national, and international bridge projects from concept design through implementation.
Job responsibilities
- Contribute to structural design from inception to completion.
- Undertake bridge assessment, including on-site inspection and analysis.
- Perform finite element analysis and structural inspections.
- Support structures renewal feasibility studies.
- Supervise on-site works when required.
- Manage resources and tasks within a scheme of structures.
- Use industry-leading software and collaborate with other engineering disciplines.
Qualifications
- BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification or equivalent, or above.
- MEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering is advantageous.
- Structural modules or Structural or Bridge Engineering experience is advantageous.
- Candidates should demonstrate good technical understanding of Civil and Structural Engineering.
- Candidates should show interest in Bridge Structures Engineering and a career in the industry.
- Candidates must be willing and able to work toward ICE or IStructE chartership.
