About the Role
Croda is seeking a Global Process Owner for Manufacturing Accounting to drive cost accounting standards and analytics across global manufacturing. You will own the global manufacturing accounting process, define standards, and lead process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Own the global manufacturing accounting process
- Define and implement global process standards across all sites and regions
- Drive process simplification, automation and data quality improvements
- Ensure strong financial controls, compliance and audit readiness
- Global inventory reporting to the group function at key reporting periods
- Oversight of carbon accounting processes at manufacturing sites and globally
- Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Finance teams to improve cost visibility and performance insights
- Lead global process improvement and transformation initiatives, including system enhancements
- Establish and track KPIs to drive accountability and continuous improvement
- Act as subject matter expert for manufacturing accounting, providing governance, guidance and support globally
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong experience in manufacturing finance, including inventory valuation, standard costing, production accounting and COGS
- Proven track record of owning and improving end to end finance processes in a global organisation
- Deep knowledge of ERP systems (ideally SAP) and how manufacturing, supply chain and finance data integrate
- Experience in multi site or complex manufacturing environments
- Ability to drive standardisation, simplification and automation at scale
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence across Finance, Operations and IT
- Continuous improvement mindset, with focus on controls, data integrity and process efficiency

Who We’re Looking For
- A qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with strong experience in manufacturing finance, including inventory valuation, standard costing, production accounting and COGS
- A proven track record of owning and improving end to end finance processes in a global organisation
- Deep knowledge of ERP systems (ideally SAP) and how manufacturing, supply chain and finance data integrate
- Experience in multi site or complex manufacturing environments

Additional Information
- This role can be based at any of our UK sites or UK remote.
- The role will require travel to manufacturing sites and will require use of a car for UK site travel (if based in UK) and willingness to travel globally as required.
