Role Overview
Parsons is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to supervise a road and infrastructure project in Dubai, UAE.
The role covers consultant-side supervision of geotechnical construction, earthworks, ground improvement, testing, compliance, and project documentation.
Responsibilities
- Supervise ground investigations, ground improvement, engineered fill placement, compaction, and verification testing.
- Review contractor submissions including method statements, ITPs, material submittals, prequalification packages, and geotechnical reports.
- Verify compaction, fill quality, ground improvement acceptance, pile testing, and compliance with specifications.
- Assess MSE wall and underpass foundation submissions and coordinate with structural supervision.
- Raise and close out NCRs and SORs, monitor progress, coordinate authorities, and maintain project records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- At least 12 years of geotechnical engineering experience on major roads and infrastructure projects.
- Proven Dubai project experience and essential prior RTA roads or infrastructure project experience.
- Working knowledge of RTA General Specification Sections 4 and 5.
