Geotechnical Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Supervise geotechnical investigations and site assessments.
• Prepare factual and interpretative engineering reports to client specifications.
• Derive geotechnical soil parameters and perform engineering analyses.
• Work with shallow foundations, deep foundations, and liquefaction assessments.
• Prepare laboratory testing schedules.
• Assist with fieldwork and laboratory testing data management.

Required qualifications and experience

• Master’s qualification in Geotechnical Engineering is required.
• UAE MOE equivalency certificate for the master’s qualification is required.
• Abu Dhabi Municipality approved license is required.
• Five to six years of Geotechnical Engineer experience in an ISO 17025:2017-accredited geotechnical laboratory is required.
• The candidate must be skilled in deriving geotechnical engineering parameters and knowledgeable in GINT software.

Preferred experience

• Experience in Abu Dhabi is preferable.
