Geospatial Analyst I - CJIS/GIS

An associate's degree in geography, geographic information systems, data analytics, statistics, computer science, information systems, or a related field; or a high school diploma and relevant work experience.

Current NCIC certification or the ability to become NCIC certified.

Knowledge of geospatial concepts, crime data collection, data management, analysis, visualization, and presentation of information.

Ability to analyze and interpret spatial and tabular data using statistical, analytical, and geospatial methods.

Ability to manage priorities, document workflows, troubleshoot basic data or software issues, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Must be able to pass a state and national finger-print based background check.

Some state travel, including overnight travel may be required.
