We are looking for teammates who are: Self-motivated, efficient with their time, and eager to take initiative Organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of independently prioritizing tasks Able to explain technical information clearly to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge Passionate to learn new cybersecurity tactics What you will do: You will perform simple to moderately complex monitoring and incident management for SCDOR environments and provide technical solutions that serve to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Primary job duties include: Monitoring, identifying, reporting, and resolving simple to moderately complex problems affecting security and availability Preparing monitoring reports and working with the team to make recommendations on corrective measures Resolving more complex issues with specific directives to infrastructure for resolution with an emphasis on tracking incident progress Developing and improving event, alert, and reporting mechanisms for the team and stakeholders Creating moderately complex procedures and playbooks as assigned Producing attestation and collateral within the required time Assisting units with information security risk assessments Translating security requirements into functional specifications and requirements Assisting with the analysis and development of security plans for various systems
