About the Role
Hyatt Place Dubai is seeking a General Technician - Civil to inspect, maintain, repair, and improve all civil, structural, architectural, and finishing elements of the hotel property.

Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance programs
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests
- Repair damaged walls, ceilings, flooring and architectural finishes
- Perform plastering, painting, tiling, waterproofing and carpentry repairs
- Conduct inspections and report structural concerns
- Respond to emergencies involving water ingress, flooding and building defects
- Follow all Health, Safety, Fire and Environmental procedures
- Use PPE correctly and report hazards immediately
- Maintain professional and courteous interactions with guests
- Ensure maintenance works are completed with minimal guest disruption
- Maintain grooming standards and punctuality
- Support engineering projects and other assigned duties
Requirements
- Diploma, ITI, Trade Certification, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Building Maintenance, Masonry, Carpentry, Construction Technology, or related field
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a General Technician, Civil Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role
- Previous experience in hotels, resorts, commercial buildings, hospitals, or large facilities is preferred

Qualifications
- Diploma, ITI, Trade Certification, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Building Maintenance, Masonry, Carpentry, Construction Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a General Technician, Civil Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
- Previous experience in hotels, resorts, commercial buildings, hospitals, or large facilities is preferred.
