Reporting to the Vice President Regional Operation or the Regional Director of Operations, we are searching for an individual who thrives in a multifaceted and highly rewarding environment. This role requires balancing the demands of nurturing relationships with seniors, their families, and external community stakeholders.

What you will be doing
You will be a welcomed member of the Aspira Management team and impact in the following ways:
Sales and Residence Occupancy
Leads sales initiatives and delivers on sales related KPIs to generate leads and achieve occupancy goals.
Holds primary responsibility for all sales functions including; lead management, documentation, in-reach activities, reporting, touring/retouring and follow-up.
Solicits sponsorship and marketing opportunities.
Creates enticing on site open houses and activities.
Establishes ongoing sales objectives with the Regional Sales Support Specialist involved in at least one high profile community agencies / associations.
Engage regularly in community outreach initiatives, including off-sire outreach activities, to foster relationships and increase awareness of available services
Team Management
Delegates responsibility to the leadership team based on clearly defined lines of authority and communication.
Provides support and direction to the leadership team to achieve targeted occupancy numbers.
Monitors all departments to ensure that the residence is tour ready at all times.
Reviews all work assignments to ensure they remain clear and current
Demonstrates personal attributes and communication skills that foster teamwork and customer satisfaction at all times and monitors team members performance in relation to both.
Supervises, coaches and mentors supervisory team members.
Implements team members recognition initiatives in accordance with organization guidelines.
Promotes the completion of Ourvoice Employee Surveys and implements action plans in response to the feedback provided.
Makes adjustments to staffing levels in response to occupancy fluctuations and service enhancement as required
Provides oversight to Occupational Health & Safety Committee to ensure it meets all legislative requirements
Develops and monitors the master schedule to ensure consistency in staffing and service levels
Oversees recruitment, orientation and performance management of all team members
Operations
Plans, co-ordinates, directs and monitors the effectiveness of all operational activities of the Residence
Develops short- and long-term operational plans for the efficient operation of the Residence
Provides leadership and direction to ensure all aspects of Quality Improvement Program are carried out as scheduled.
Ensures all policies and procedures are adhered to. Any deficiencies are addressed and
Monitors all correspondence and bulletins to ensure they are written in a professional manner
Monitors all standing committees to ensure they are functioning within the terms of reference that outlines their function and area of responsibility.
Provides input for development of annual capital budget and monitors ongoing capital expenditures through the EAF process;
Oversees all expenditures utilizing the purchase journals to ensure departments operate within budgetary guidelines
Reviews financial statements and takes action on variances to bring expenditures in line with budget
Ensures adherence to all aspects of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Fire Code
Reviews the Fire and Emergency plan on an annual basis with all team members to reinforce the roles & responsibilities of team members working different shifts
Promotes the use of the feedback forms – We’re Listening & You Have a Voice and ensure they are always available
Responds promptly to concerns of residents and family members, mediating a satisfactory response to concerns and implements action plans to avoid reoccurrence of similar issues.
What you need to know
Minimum 2 years sales experience
Exceptional customer service skills
Able to accommodate evenings and weekends, when needed
3 year management experience
Ontario: Successful completion of the Fire Safety Planning Training for Owners and Operators in accordance with Ontario Regulation 150/13.
Must possess excellent supervisory and leadership abilities in the areas of human resources, finance, labour relations, marketing and department coordination;
Must possess good public relations and communication skills;
Demonstrated proficiency in internet-based research and navigation, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
Must demonstrate initiative, good judgment and foster a positive work atmosphere
Effective verbal and written English communication skills required.
Experience working with Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check
