General Manager - Contracting

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the contracting company.
• Develop business strategies to achieve company objectives and growth targets.
• Lead project, commercial, technical, procurement, and operational teams.
• Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Monitor profitability, budgets, costs, cash flow, and financial performance.
• Manage relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Identify business opportunities and support revenue growth.
• Review contracts, project progress, variations, claims, and commercial matters.
• Improve operational procedures, systems, and performance standards.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, contractual requirements, health and safety, and company policies.
• Monitor KPIs and report performance to senior management or ownership.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the management team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including significant senior management or General Manager experience.
• Strong experience in the UAE contracting and construction industry.
• Experience managing multiple projects and departments.
• Strong understanding of project management, commercial management, contracts, procurement, and operations.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness with the ability to drive profitability.
• Established network and knowledge of the UAE construction market is highly preferred.
• Ability to lead teams and manage business growth.
• UAE driving license is preferred.

Pay

• AED 15,000 to AED 30,000 per month.

Work Location

• Work is performed in person.
