Purpose
The General Manager (“GM”) leads all aspects of Thermogenics’ business operations at the site with a primary focus on selling Parts & Service. The broader responsibilities of the role include sales strategy development, execution, and deployment, as well as organic and (input to) acquisitive growth in the location. The General Manager will provide leadership to all personnel, ensuring the existing customer base and employees are retained, new customers are acquired, and Thermogenics’ product and services are effectively sold. This is an experienced leader with a proven track record of gaining credibility from his / her team and customers, driving process improvement and results within a boiler parts, service, and rentals operational setting.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- The General Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and managing a team of senior service technicians within a customer focused boiler, parts, service, and rentals environment. Working through their team and in collaboration with Thermogenics’ Corporate Sales, Human Resources and Finance, the GM is responsible for maintaining a safety-first culture, fostering employee engagement and satisfaction, meeting financial and operating objectives, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and driving profitable growth and expansion.
